In the realm of the most prolific acts on the Anglo-Saxon alternative/independent/underground scene, London’s Wren (dark sludge/post-metal meets noise-rock) stand firmly in place. Between 2015 and 2017 alone, the band released no fewer than five records — albums, EPs, splits, and even an audiovisual collaboration. Earlier this year, they returned with an exclusive new track, « Atrophia » (see below).
Less than six months later, they’re back at it again with ‘Thrall’ — a single-track EP running just shy of 20 minutes. Released on CD, cassette, and digital via Gizeh Records and Astral Noize Records, it’s available now in physical form here and here, and you can also stream it in full right below.
