At Score A/V, we have two passions: music… and food. In that order—reversed, actually. So when the Swiss band Orso , known for their post-metal with a side of ‘food porn’ (the algorithms are going to love that), drop a new album, you can bet we’re all ears. Both of them.
Formed by members of June DeVille, No Sun In San Francisco, Kruger ou The View Electrical, the Helvetic quintet released a first full-length effort back in 2019 with ‘Paninoteca’ – as follow-up of their debut EP ‘Primi Piatti’ (2016) – released through the Swiss label Czar Of Crickets Production.
Five years later, the band returend in the Fall 2024 with a new album released via their own imprint No Sun Records (a label known for its eclectic catalogue, ranging from the pop-rock ofAstro Cargo to the contemporary jazz of Wanu), and titled ‘Caffè?’.
The result—evoking the sonic landscapes of Cult of Luna, Mono, OK Wait, Russian Circles, or Shy, Low—is now available on CD, LP, and digital formats, and can also be streamed in full just below.
