Experimental prog/post-rock outfit Kusanagi return with a bold new vision on their forthcoming album ‘PARAMNESIA’. Known for their genre-blurring mix of post-rock, math-rock, and progressive atmospheres, the Liverpool-based instrumental four-piece are taking listeners into uncharted sonic territory—where memory blurs with illusion, and sound becomes experience.
Ahead of the release, Kusanagi have unveiled new singles that preview the record’s immersive soundscape—starting with “Polymorph”, now available to stream on all platforms. A hypnotic blend of jagged time signatures, soaring guitar layers, and emotional precision, the track captures the band’s signature intensity and refined complexity.
‘PARAMNESIA’ sees Kusanagi dive deeper into cinematic textures, experimental structures, and an emotional landscape shaped by their influences—from the crushing ambience of Mogwai, the dynamic contrasts of Deftones, and the rhythmical precision of Animals as Leaders, to the melodic power of And So I Watch You From Afar.
The singles are available now while the album will be officially released on both CD & Digital formats on May 29th via Ripcord Records (Codespeaker, Demersal, Partholón…).
