As we launched Score A/V nearly 10 years ago (yes, almost a full decade already…), we’ve ever been – since then – filling our pages with all kinds of musical discoveries and confirmations—especially throughout the two years that followed.

And yet, we constantly find ourselves missing out on a number of releases, which is exactly why we introduced these “catch-up sessions” that now appear regularly on the site—highlighting standout releases and hidden gems from across the musical landscape.

The latest arrival comes straight out of London, courtesy of the ever-sharp HUMAN WORTH, —already responsible for delivering a few heavy-hitting releases that left a strong impression on our editorial team (see : Modern Technology, TORPOR…) and identified as Remote Viewing —occasionally stylized as R E MO T E VI E W I NG because… well, why not.

The lineup: five seasoned veterans of the UK underground scene—featuring members previously spotted in Nitkowski, Palehorse, ṠḶẏ & Ṯḧḕ ḟḀṁḭḶẏ ḊṙṏṆḕ or Wound) —coming together with serious intent on a raw and uncompromising release. Modern Addictions delivers a tightly wound dose of noisy (post)-hardcore and sludge metal, channeling the ferocity of Crowbar, EYEHATEGOD, Great Falls, The Jesus Lizard, Rowsdower, and Wren. The result is available now on a beautifully crafted vinyl edition—and ready for a heavy listen just below.
