They made a loud entrance onto our radar with their single “Instacat” (see below), and now they’re back — this time armed with a full EP and a debut full-length album already slated for 2022.

We’re talking about PARLOR, the French outfit blending chaotic hardcore-punk and post-metal/noise, drawing inspiration from the likes of Botch, Converge, Breach, and Stuntman for those in the know. The band recently unveiled their new EP, Comments, released in LP, tape and digital formats through Duality Records & Source Atone Records (Feral, Junon, Membrane, etc.).

Produced by Francis Caste (Comity, Kickback, Regarde Les Hommes Tomber…) at Studio Sainte-Marthe, Comments delivers a sharp and caustic satire of our toxic and often unhealthy relationship with social media — and you can stream the full record just below.
