Just over a year on from their massive ‘Devoured By The Mouth’, an album that cemented the band on the international metal scene highest ranking, British prospects HERIOT are back with a new single « Commander Of Pain ».

Produced by Loathe’s Erik Bickerstaffe and finished by Randy LeBoeuf (known for his work with Kublai Khan TX), the track sees HERIOT sharpen their sonic assault — fusing raw aggression, suffocating heaviness, and technical precision into a brutal yet cathartic statement.

« ‘Commander Of Pain’ is our ode to ’90s death metal,” explains Debbie Gough. “It’s born from the energy of the live shows, the bands we’ve shared stages with, and everything we love about heavy music — intensity, atmosphere, and total chaos.”

From its opening grind to its colossal breakdowns, “Commander Of Pain” channels the spirit of old-school death metal through the lens of modern UK metallic hardcore.
