About 5 years after their debut album ‘Hollow’ and a bold remix collaboration with Signal², French noise-rock/alternative-rock/90’s post-hardcore quartet Untitled With Drums returns with ‘Symbols’ — a new EP marking a powerful transition for the band.

Unveiled exclusively below, the first single “Obsolete” offers a raw glimpse into this new chapter: a sound more direct and instinctive, where urgency replaces restraint. ‘Symbols’ speaks of detachment, escape, power, and revolt — reflections of a restless era.

Recorded between February and July 2025 at La Voûte (Clermont-Ferrand) by Alex Hourvari, mixed by Cyrille Gachet (Year Of No Light, Fange, Pilori), and mastered by Alan Douches (Deftones, Cave In, SOAD), the EP embraces sharper alt-rock tones inspired by A Perfect Circle, Cave In, Superheaven, Failure, and True Widow.

Each of its four tracks will be released progressively, leading to the full release of “Symbols” on December 1, 2025 as digital exclusive via Atypeek Music & Juggernoise — the sound of Untitled With Drums reborn, five years in the making.
