As we launched Score A/V nearly 10 years ago (yes, almost a full decade already…), we’ve ever been – since then – filling our pages with all kinds of musical discoveries and confirmations—especially throughout the two years that followed.

And yet, we constantly find ourselves missing out on a number of releases, which is exactly why we introduced these “catch-up sessions” that now appear regularly on the site—highlighting standout releases and hidden gems from across the musical spectrum.

An unconventional trio based between Germany and Scotland, known for their distinctive stylistic fusion best described as a blend of alternative/doom rock, noise/post-metal, and post-punk/slowcore, h e a l t h y l i v i n g – featuring members of bands such as Achenspire, Falloch ou Maud The Moth – —is the latest (albeit belated) discovery to catch the attention of the Score A/V editorial team.

Just over a year ago, the band released their debut album, ‘Songs of Abundance, Psalms of Grief’ in CD, LP & Digital via the Spanish label La Rubia Producciones (Deriva, Gyoza…) ; available on CD, LP, and digital formats via Spanish label La Rubia Producciones (home to acts like Deriva, Gyoza…).

The result is a haunting and immersive work, reminiscent of artists such as Chelsea Wolfe, Julie Christmas, and Messa ; available in both physical and digital formats here, and that can be streamed in full just below.
