This is what you call playing it ‘heavy’: three years after the already powerful ‘Leave Me The Ashes Of The Earth’ the heaviest band on the English hardcore/sludge-punk / metal — namely MASTIFF—has delivered a new album titled ‘Deprecipice.’ Released a few weeks ago with great fanfare (and a lot of noise) via MNRK Heavy (Crowbar, Filth Is Eternal, Rolo Tomassi, etc.).

It’s a record that summons the influence of bands like Crowbar, Inter Arma, Iron Monkey, NAILS, or even Napalm Death and the French group Love Sex Machine. Consequently, it is available in physical and digital formats here, and can be heard in its entirety just below.
